Since the interiors world is in full swing planning Christmas schemes and decor, I thought I would do a festive throwback to last years theme. I went for a white, silver and blush winter wonderland with a contemporary twist; a touch of black of course 😉 This colour palette was a natural extension of the decor we already had in our home. So here’s what I did…
As well as the usual lights and baubles, I added shimmering organza and ribbon to fill the tree out more. (The organza decorated the church pillars in our wedding – you can see that here). I also pushed in white faux flower stems to give a romantic look.
The wreath was a plain one I picked up at B&Q. Simply adding lights and a few small white flower heads meant it tied in with the tree nicely.
I always like to match my gift wrap to the decor scheme and so I chose silver paper and wide black satin ribbon for a touch of luxury. I loved this look and may do something similar this year!
A sparkling reindeer and some extra baubles in varying sizes continue the theme to the centre of the room.
What do you think? What theme are you planning for Christmas this year?
